Clear

Description

According to Dana’s graphic account of his life aboard the Boston hide dragger PILGRIM in his classic “Two Years Before the Mast,” the beach at La Playa was just about the only place on the West Coast where hides could be taken off small boats without getting them wet and damaged in the surf.
