Clear

Description

This scene is of the “Constitution” in Boston Harbor in her days of glory. She is shown making preparations to sail when the tide she is stemming starts to recede. Boston’s Court House, Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall can be seen left of center as a brig arrives on the flood. Alongside the frigate a sloop unloads provisions as the gaskets are loosed from the royal sails, readying them for instant use.
